Barrel length seem to be getting longer and longer, is it a fad or does it truly make a difference?
My beloved Beretta has the standard 30″ barrels and I use it to shoot everything from skeet to ABT and whilst the scores are only average, I doubt if changing to longer barrels would make any real difference to my scores.
Some shooters change guns and barrel length on a monthly basis trying to find that magic combination that will dramatically improve their shooting abilities.
Are they kidding themselves, and shouldn’t they concentrate more on gunfit, cartridge selection, shooting lessons, etc?
are you the same ken that always use 2″ chokes
and tell every one that you use a 30″ barells
OK OK I admit I sometimes use 2″ extended chokes for DTL.
